The overall philosophy is reasonable measures with scientifically verified results.
- Freeze current system - separate accounts/investment choices (selected funds)
- Develop private investment system and separate funding for persons under age 50
- Develop fair welfare system for disabled
- Consider wealth limits for Medicare and Social Security benefits ($3,000,000 of wealth CPI adjusted)
- Other Medicare limits/funding/caps/reviews
Goal: Create a more efficient system that has long-term stability
Reasons: The current system is an entitlement, instead of tax/welfare system. The population shifts will not support such a system. It must be made more efficient by having forced savings for individuals (separate accounts). The drain on the system by the wealthy makes no sense long-term. Even if they paid in, it was/is a tax. If they can maintain their standard of living without the funds, then we should save the funds for those who cannot maintain their standard of living.
