- We will seek to make sure that every American understands the price paid for freedom, the real (not distorted) history of our nation and the reasons for our national holidays. We will encourage respect for those who have died fighting for our freedom
- We have forgotten that we are one nation of many; we are a melting pot of many cultures but are Americans first and foremost; we may disagree, but we disagree as Americans who have the freedom to discuss and disagree (that differs from a freedom to close streets or harass others). It is okay to dislike my views and tell me so, it is not okay to display hate towards me or vilify me because of my views.
- Political assembly must remain civil and peaceable.
- The Flag is a beautiful symbol of the freedom we have; we must not allow it to become just another piece of cloth. We must stand and remove our hats and honor the flag not out of obligation, but because we understand what it means.
- Our high school teams need to be on the field/courts during the National anthem
Goals: Revive the American spirit
Reasons: Like in so many other areas of our society, we have become complacent in our view of the United States of America and the freedoms and opportunities it offers. We need to review our history in the context of the world. We are the most advanced, most free country in history. Is there still work to be done? Absolutely! The spirit of America can lead the world to freedom and prosperity - not by force but by example and charity. We have something very special in America - freedom. We must treasure it. We must thank our ancestors. We must teach our descendants. We must offer it to others around the world, remembering that we cannot force freedom upon another nation, for forced freedom is not freedom.
