- 2 most recent living and healthy presidents (until age 75) regardless of party are invited to be in President's cabinet as ex officio.
- Business Executive - position on cabinet (represents an advisory committee of 25 executives)
Goals: Strong leadership and accountability.
Reasons: Allows President to rely upon experience, intelligence of prior Presidents; keeps former leaders informed. Increase role of business leaders in government. President Bush I and Bill Clinton working together for Asian Tsunami aid is a good start to cooperative efforts.
